2017 Homesteader Recap

What a fun (and toasty) weekend it was during the inaugural Homesteader. Year one was a definite success—despite the signature Nebraska summer heat wave! After all, any time we get our members together for an event, it’s always memorable.

For those of you who we saw over the weekend, thank you for coming. You all were welcome sights to our team. You’ve set the stage for The Homesteader, especially as this event sets its eyes on growing, year-after-year.

Unfortunately, due to doubled-up dates, we missed many of you and hope to have you next year!

The weekend was setup as a “Member-only” weekend.

The agenda featured an incredible lineup of cuisine (highlighted by a fabulous carne asada dish and spicy Cajun seafood pasta), competitive golf (14 teams dueling on the Dunes and Pines), extra events (including sport shooting and fly fishing lessons), and a vivacious concert performed by the always entertaining, Jonny Mogambo band.

This one was one to put on the calendars. It’s a weekend where our members have their complete run of the place—eating, golfing, dancing, drinking, and filling the Lodge with laughter.

We’re working on dates for next year. When we announce them this fall, work to saddle up with a member and plan to join us.
