2017 Majors Pick ‘Em Contest Final Results
August 29, 2017—
Two Americans, an Englishman, and a Belgian bomber. That’s all Hal Morris needed to claim the season-long 2017 Member Majors contest.
With a team of Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, Thomas Pieters, and Charley Hoffman, Mr. Morris assembled the team to beat them all. Spieth and Hoffman made all four cuts this year in the majors, while Rose and Pieters put up a few very solid performances to contribute to his near $4.5 million total. Formidable roster, Mr. Morris, very formidable. Congratulations!
At the beginning of the major season in April, everyone was asked to pick four [4] golfers based on their current Official World Golf Rankings—one player 1-10, one player 11-25, one player 26-50, and one player 51-higher.
Armed with a roster of four, it was a race to the top of the total money list.
