2019 Boot & Buckle Results & Recap

We had an absolute blast at the 2019 Boot & Buckle.
Thank you all of the 40-ought teams who joined us for yet another rip-roaring event on the prairie.
This truly is one of our highlights each and every year. You all have continued to make it so fun for us. Good golf, good food, good music, and a little competition makes for the perfect weekend.
To start the weekend, Doug Leafgren and Geoff Henson won the Horse Course event with a 2-under par score of 22 (8 holes, alternate shot). Congrats, fellas and nice shootin’!
Then, throughout the weekend, 9-hole matches were contested throughout the property. This year, we had a total of 7 flights with 12 players (6 teams) in each flight. All of the flight results can be seen here.
Congratulations again to our overall champions, Jim Thayer & Mike Leininger! Jim is now a multiple champion of the Boot & Buckle, having also won in 2015. Nice playin’, boys!
As far as other news, there were no aces, there were tons of eagles (particularly on 6 Dunes on Day 1), and nothing else crazy that took place. Just an awesome weekend with a cigar or two.
