2019 The Prairie Club Invitational Event Recap

News

October 3, 2019—

Over the weekend, we hosted our annual collegiate event, this year called The Prairie Club Invitational, as both the University of Nebraska and South Dakota State University joined forces to serve as co-hosts.

Seven teams in the field challenged our Dunes Course over 54-holes of competition, with the Mizzou Tigers winning the two-day event by 20 strokes.

The Tigers’ Ross Steelman made 6 birdies and 2 eagles in the second round for a score of 65, one of only three sub-70 rounds all week.

One of the stars in the field was Sam Houston State’s William Holcomb V, a semi-finalist in this year’s U.S. Amateur at Pinehurst. Holcomb finished in a T4.
