Fundraiser Benefits Local Community

On Saturday morning, some 92 golfers hit the Pines Course for a special fundraiser for local kids in need.

A few weeks ago, we emailed all of you about an event called “Monkeying Around for Kids.” As you may remember, two little girls in the Valentine community were diagnosed with cancer, each of them under the age of 6. This event was put in place to find a way to help. All proceeds went forth.

We were so encouraged by the turnout. The day raised $9,500!

It is difficult for our Club to able host community support events like this during our season since we’re a resort. We were grateful for the opportunity to extend a hand to our community with this event.
