It’s the most wonderful time of year. Or, so the song goes.

Here in Valentine, we love the holiday festivities, but it’s hard to top the excitement that builds as golf season draws near.

We’re already looking ahead to our 2018 lineup of events, beginning with Opening Day, May 17. If you haven’t gotten a trip on the books yet, give us a call, or make a reservation request with our front desk today.

 —The 2nd Annual Homesteader—

May 18-20

We’re kicking off 2018 with our only member-exclusive event, The Homesteader. Based on the popularity of this year’s already sold-out Boot & Buckle, we feel The Homesteader is key to ensuring members are receiving an exceptional golf experience.

Find yourself a teammate, and mark off May 18-20 for The Homesteader. You won’t want to miss it.

—Sandhills Golf Day—

June 11 

At the ribbon-cutting of The Prairie Club on June 11, 2010, former Nebraska governor, Dave Heineman declared the date “Sandhills Golf Day.” We’re thrilled to note that this will be our ninth year celebrating such a special occasion.

Wherever you are on June 11, we hope you’re thinking of our beautiful Sandhills.

June 21-24

Easily our most popular event, The Boot & Buckle is already sold out for June 21-24.

We’re incredibly grateful for your support of events like this and are already looking forward to a wonderful weekend with you and your guests.

—Couples Weekend—

August 3-5

We look forward to Couples Weekend every year, and 2018 is no different.

All member and hosted guest couples are encouraged to join us for a weekend of gourmet meals, golf events, and exciting activities the first weekend in August.

—The Jackrabbit—

September 29-October 3

2018 marks the fourth-annual Jackrabbit, a Division I collegiate tournament hosted by South Dakota State University. In this unique event, you and a few friends will have the opportunity to pair up with a top-ranked college golfer during the opening day College-Am event.

The Jackrabbit begins on September 29 and runs through October 3. Start putting your team together, and stay tuned for more information.

The Club will close for the season on Sunday, October 7.
