Chris Huisken Hole-in-One Story | Pines 3

Holes-in-one

August 18, 2020 —

In July 2019, Chris Huisken and his wife, Lori, woke to a calm morning and zipped their way to the #1 tee on the Pines Course.

Soon after, they reached the par-3 third, a hole measuring 155-yards to the day’s hole location.

The bottom portion of the flag blind, the hole was tucked behind the left-hand side bunker framing the front of the green.

His 8-iron in hand, Chris took dead aim.

A shot that seemed to have a great line landed behind the knoll, soon followed by a comment from Chris.

“That could be in the hole,” he said to Lori.

As they walked up to the green, they had no idea the final destination of the golf ball, but with the hunch of a great life partner, Lori decided to start recording.

Watch the rest:

The hole-in-one was a wonderful memory for Chris, but as he later indicated, “it wasn’t even my #1 memory at The Prairie Club.” More on that another day.

Memories sure make for treasures.

Thank you for walking with us — and the Huisken’s — down memory lane today.
