2021 Eagle’s Nest Open: FINAL STANDINGS
July 22, 2021 —
With Collin Morikawa’s undisputed triumph at Royal St. George’s, we have sadly come to the end of major championship season.
So, let’s tally up the totals for the season-long Eagle’s Nest Open.
Holding a roster with world #1 Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Justin Rose, and Jordan Spieth carried fellow-member Jed Paulsen to the season’s championship earning $8,305,218 in total cash.
Congratulations, Jed. Awesome roster!
Here was the top-5 (well, 6):
- Jed Paulsen — $8,305,218
- $150 – pro shop credit
- Linda Stevens — $7,857,652
- $125 – pro shop credit
- Spence Romine — $7,373,819
- $100 – pro shop credit
- Casey Thompson — $7,201,465
- $75 – pro shop credit
- (tie) Mike Brown + John Hayes — $7,034,278
- $50 – pro shop credit
- $50 – pro shop credit
Funny enough, we had a tie for 5th last year, as well.
Jordan Spieth’s resurgence in group 4 was key.
An interesting note: there were no rosters that featured either PGA champion Phil Mickelson, or Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama. Maybe next year, our membership will peg all four major winners. 😉
That was a lot of fun. If you have suggestions or ideas for the 2021 Eagle’s Nest Open, send them to our team.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
