Eagle’s Nest Open | Standings After PGA Championship
May 24, 2021 —
What did golf fans do to deserve a Tiger Woods triumph in 2019 at The Masters and a history with Phil Mickelson in 2021 on the coast of South Carolina?
Absolutely unbelievable.
If you remember back to The Masters, not a single member had Hideki Matsuyama rostered for this year’s contest.
Was the same mistake made with Phil Mickelson?
Answer: Nope!
Darren Lee, a fellow member of ours from Sioux Falls, snagged the 102nd-ranked Mickelson and was the only person with the courage to place hope in “Lefty.” And Mr. Lee is reaping the benefits.
He climbed all the way to #2 in our standings, sitting a few hundred thousand dollars in earnings behind Jed Paulson.
The Eagle’s Nest Open is heating up.
We’ll see you at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
Phil the thrill, even at age 50.
