An update to our season-long contest!
Did you watch Jordan Spieth’s win at last weeks Open Championship at Royal Birkdale? Most thought Justin Rose’s hole-out in 1998 would hold firm as the most iconic memory in the venue’s history. The image of Jordan Spieth and his caddie Michael Grellar scrambling around the driving range seeking a drop, en route to an unlikely save for bogey, may now be the club’s historic moment.
What an incredible victory by the now 24-year old, who sits with three legs of the career Grand Slam.
A few have broken away from the pack through 3 events in our season-long 2017 Majors Contest. On the heels of a few majors won, our leaderboard is now headlined by the foursome of Hal Morris, Alex Morrison, Robert Joseph, and Jay Kerutis. Less than $1 million in earnings separates the four.
