Member VJ Pappas Featured in Golfer’s Journal

Our fellow member V.J. Pappas of Philadelphia, PA had his golf life’s manifesto published in the Winter 2021 reading of The Golfer’s Journal.

“American Safari: The Sand Hills Became a Second Golf Home After One Blind Trip Turned Into Years of Adventure on the Plains,” is a full detail on all of the golf that our sliver flyover country has to offer.

Pappas knows the area well, making dozens upon dozens of trips to this area of the country.

Spanning pages 56-79, Pappas shared insights into this area across his four memberships and tells stories from Ballyneal, Dismal River, Caprock Ranch, Sand Hills, and of course, The Prairie Club.
