Nebraska Ties Cluster Rocket Mortgage Leaderboard in Detroit

It’s always encouraging to see the accomplishments on Nebraska soil find their way into the national spotlight.

This week in Detroit, two golfers with ties to western Nebraska took the top-2 spots at the Rocket Mortgage Classic on the PGA Tour.

Scottsbluff native Nathan Lashley was a first time PGA Tour winner with an extraordinary performance that earned him a 6-shot victory. Lashley was a decorated junior golfer in Nebraska.

Also, Doc Redman made a run of his own.

Redman was the winner of the 2nd annual Jackrabbit Invite, hosted on the Dunes Course by South Dakota State in 2016.
