New Tees on Pines 6

For years, the tee on Pines 6 has seen wedges bruise it’s turf.

We’ve known that expanding this tee box was necessary for a few reasons.

First, the original teeing area was very small. This meant that the majority of players who play our blue and white tees were abusing the same small strip of turf repeatedly.

Second, because of the stoic pines to the left of the tee box, the grass didn’t get much sun. Getting the turf to heal could be periodically problematic.

With an expanded area and rerouted cart path, we’re hoping for a better experience on Pines 6.

We’re excited to have it ready for Opening Day!

With our experienced returning H2B staff, we are taking advantage to improve the course. First off the list in capital improvements, an additional tee on 6 Pines. The existing tee was way too small for this short par 3. This tee will nearly triple the square footage of… pic.twitter.com/ifpMWRzWyU
