Our 2022 Homesteader Recap: A Member-Only Finale

Next year, you’ll be missing out if you don’t take part.

The beauty of Homesteader weekend is that it’s a grand finale of a wonderful season.  It’s members only (mostly, rather member invite only).  This year, the weather panned out pretty darn good.

And, because it’s the last hoorah, we’re emptying the freezers, emptying the pantries, and emptying the kegs before winter.

All-inclusive is an absolute blast.

If you’re wondering, here was the schedule for the weekend.

For the golf event, we played two-team, handicapped quota format.

There were a total of 6 flights and 23 teams:

• Flight 1 winners: Justin Larson (member) // Michael Keeton (guest)
• Flight 2: Casey Thompson // Mack Thompson (members)
• Flight 3: Brett Hill // Paul Kolkman (members)
• Flight 4: Ricky Hartwig // Jacob Linch (members)
• Flight 5: Craig Meyer (member) // Shawn Meyer (guest)
• Flight 6: Tim Goodnight II (member) // Tim Goodnight (guest)

Overall Champs were the Goodnights.

To finish off the season with a lodge full of members was perfect.
